We are seeking Dump Truck Drivers to work in Canada. You may be on-call, possibly working overtime, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and nights.
You should be able to speak English and have trade certificates or diplomas. Ideally, you have 2-3 years of experience.
The work is physically demanding. It would be desirable if you have good attention to detail, large workload, repetitive tasks able to handle heavy loads.
You should have excellent oral and written communication, good judgement, be dependable, organized, flexible, reliable, and a team player with effective interpersonal skills.
Communication Systems Experience
Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment.
Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Driver logbook, Accident or incident reports, Trip reports, Maintenance and repair reports.
Load and unload goods, Perform preventive maintenance, Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, Perform pretrip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle, Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo.
